Koi Fish Pattern Cane

In case people were wondering what on earth I was talking about with "fish canes".

I like making fish like this because you can get a nice pattern that goes through the sculpture rather than one that just sits on the surface. I did it with a glow in the dark effect before fav.me/damejd1, and by using translucent clay and thinning out or thickening the glow clay in parts of the pattern it allowed the effect to concentrate in certain areas.
It's also great for when you want to make multiple fish. They'll all be similar but not identical.
And as always, the advantage with canes is that you can reduce it in size to get really tiny intricate patterns.
