Book Cover for adelesimone88

adelesimone88 is participating in NaNoWriMo this year so I made this cover for her story.

I wanted to try a photomanipulation so I asked her about her characters and themes.
Her main character wears reading glasses and is a student, so I picked those as the main elements of the image.
The story has supernatural elements, and she said that the sun and moon could be used to represent those. So I edited them into the lenses of the glasses.

The photo of the glasses, book and pen was taken by me. The reading glasses were borrowed from my mother, the book is a blank sketch journal and the pen is one my cousin gave me. They are on a wooden step ladder my brother made when he was in high school.
